Anna and Joey are on the run from past Evil (SPEAK NO EVIL) and live a transient life from motel to motel. When a Soldier commits suicide next door to them, Joey finds and steals a MASK the Soldier carried back from Nineveh, Iraq. Without a place to go and no money, Anna decides to go stay with her Uncle Pete in a very small town in the Arizona desert. Soon Anna realizes the Mask is giving Joey extraordinary powers over her new schoolmates and before long the town children start assaulting their parents. Anna realizes the only way to stop Joey and her new friends from killing all adults in the town is to tell her the real reason for their life on the run.
